Bunchberry and Tamarack are cozy, fully furnished housekeeping cottages offering quiet, seclusion, and access to the shores of Dodge Pond, with a private dock for each cottage.
Bunchberry has two bedrooms with double beds, and comfortably sleeps four. Tamarack has three bedrooms and sleeps eight. Both cottages have complete kitchen facilities and linens. Pets are welcome.
Located midway between Rangeley and Oquossoc, the cottages provide easy access to dining and shopping in both towns, all of the Rangeley Lakes, the Appalachian Trail, Mingo Springs Golf Course, Saddleback Ski Area, cross-country skiing, and miles of groomed snowmobile trails.
Bunchberry was originally built by Dr. Wilhelm Reich as a study, and later became the home of Orgonon’s first caretaker and his family. Tamarack, the larger of the two cottages, provided living quarters for Dr. Reich and his family.
Bunchberry is available year-round. Tamarack is available year-round except for a four-week period from mid-June to mid-July when it is donated to the Adoptive and Foster Families of Maine (AFFM).
Cots and children's furniture available. Deer, moose, and many small animals frequent the grounds.
